Mouse LOD is the response height (also known as silent distance), the full name of which is "Lift-Off Distance".
It is the height at which the pointer cursor completely loses its response after the mouse is lifted off the tracking surface (mouse pad, desktop, etc.). When the mouse leaves the tracking surface and reaches the response height, moving the mouse cursor will not move at all.
